Join us for the 20th Annual Parks Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9 am to noon! This community volunteer event is dedicated to keeping Federal Way’s parks beautiful. Grab your gloves and help with planting, weeding, and cleanup projects to make a lasting impact in our green spaces.
Rain or shine, we’ll be out there making a difference. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Some tools will be available, but extra shovels, gloves, clippers, and wheelbarrows are appreciated.
Night to Shine is an unforgettable worldwide celebration event, centered on God’s love, honoring and valuing people with special needs. 10-15 more buddies are needed for this special event! Training will be Wednesday, January 21 at 7 pm.
Participants will receive instruction and an opportunity for some hands-on practice & one-on-one guidance. Everyone is welcome! Bring your favorite tools. Extra tools & snacks will be provided.
Join us for this year’s State of the City event! Hear an inspiring address from Mayor Jim Ferrell as we celebrate our community’s accomplishments and share an exciting vision for the future. This special evening is your chance to be part of the conversation shaping Federal Way’s journey forward. Let’s come together to honor our city and explore what’s ahead. Your presence will make the celebration truly memorable. Save the date and join us!
