National Day of Prayer

Thank you Integrity Life Church for hosting the churches of Federal Way National Day of Prayer Service. Such beauty & power when we come together in unity!

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Colossians 3:14

Parks Appreciation Day

A big thank you to all who volunteered at the annual Parks Appreciation Day! We will continue to work to restore the historic Hylebos Blueberry Farm throughout the summer.

We survived!

A huge shout out to all our city workers who worked long hours to keep us safe. Another HUGE shout out to community churches, shelters and citizens that worked hard to provide for neighbors and those in need. Sharing rides, clothing, food, getting folks out of ditches, providing ORCA cards and lodging, etc. You know who you are…THANK YOU!!!

FW Cares for Kids Christmas Party

December 15

Lakota’s gym will be transformed into a festive environment where parents will be invited to come shop, at no cost, for gifts for their children, ages 1 to 18, which they will then wrap, with the help of volunteers. As the parents are shopping, students will be provided with an opportunity to create gifts for someone important to them (parent, grandparent, guardian). We are planning on serving 270 families and estimate 1,200 children will be present at this event.

Volunteers needed for set-up (on December 14), clean-up, greeting, children’s activities, personal shopping for parents & gift wrapping.
