9th Annual Turkey Drive

Thank you Brooklake Church for loving our community and for starting one of our favorite holiday traditions! We loved partnering with you and so many others again this year for the 9th Annual Turkey Drive. We just reached a combined total of 516 turkeys. In addition, the Uncommon Christian team donated 40 bags of groceries filled with sides ( along with 40 turkeys) and the students from Pacific Christian Academy collected 319 pounds of non-perishable food items. Donations were distributed to our local Multi Service Center, Federal Way Senior Center/Food Bank/Nutritional Meals Program, Federal Way Veterans Center, local schools, and individual families.

So much happens when we partner together to love our community!

Thank you Family Life Community, Anthem Church Northwest, Uncommon Christian Community, Brooklake Church, Pacific Christian Academy, and Tri-Worship for demonstrating the true spirit of giving.

Donating blood remains a critical and safe activity for community health. Although an estimated 38 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood at any given time, less than 10 percent do so annually. Your one-hour donation appointment is a safe and essential action to support local hospitals. Each donation can help save up to three lives! Will you lead by example and make a commitment to donate today? 

We Love Our City is leading by example and sponsoring a Virtual Blood Drive from July 9 – 24. 

We are challenging you to be a Life-Saving Hero and donate between these dates at any donor center or Pop-Up and make your impact count. 

Step 1. Make your appointment today. Find your nearest donation site here or call 1-800-398-7888. 

Step 2. On the day of your donation let the registrar know that you are donating on behalf of We Love Our City.  Mention We Love Our City or the code 0253 when you arrive to your appointment.
