WLOC is excited to be partnering with Pacific Coast Fruit Company and the USDA Farm to Families Food program.
Several pallets of 25 pound boxes of groceries containing produce, dairy & lunch meat were delivered to the Federal Way Senior Center Food Bank & distributed throughout the community. Teams distributed 20,000 pounds of free groceries throughout the day.
Once volunteers finished unloading pallets at the FWSC Food Bank, they went to the ECEAPS /Head Start Preschool located at Uptown Square to assist the staff with unloading 3 more pallets. Their amazing staff spent the rest of the day organizing other donations of toiletries, canned goods, cleaning supplies, and diapers and delivering to the homes of their little scholars!
