We Love Our City | Federal Way
Local churches, friends and family joining together to see our city transformed through serving and sharing God’s love in a tangible way!

Thank you Brooklake Church for hosting the Firefighter Appreciation Event! Sending our love to all affected by the devastating wildfires
Thank you South King Fire & Rescue for all you do to serve our community & keep us safe! ![]()

Another way to show our support is by donating to www.firefightersfoundation.org, or mail checks to:
South King Firefighters Foundation

These funds help meet immediate needs for displaced families, maintain the 9/11 memorial, and support many other non-profit organizations in town that assist those in need!
This will help provide further supplies for many of our FWPS students.
We love partnering with the annual Red Canoe Credit Union Fill the Canoe School Supply Drive. They will match donations dollar for dollar! This year will look quite different for our students. They will partner with Communities in Schools to purchase and distribute supplies. Thank you!
Please help us reach our goal of $10,000.

All money donated to We Love Our City in the month of August will go towards this campaign. Thank you for supporting the scholars in our community!
Two years ago this month, the Save the Farm team (FW Parks Dept, We Love Our City, Todd Beamer DECA, Boy Scouts, Starbucks, and community friends, leaders & family) began working to restore the Hylebos Blueberry Farm. Teams weeded, mowed, fertilized, spread compost& removed blackberries. Hundreds of volunteer hours have paid off! We are delighted to be enjoying a huge crop of berries this year. It’s rewarding to watch our community come and pick berries, enjoy the park and explore the new connector trail (extension of the Hylebos Trail).
Special thanks to Jim & Donna Cox (Light of Christ Community Garden founders and master gardeners) for their guidance and donations of time, fertilizer, and masons bees, and for hosting the pruning event.
