Communities In Schools is hosting a Resource Fair on Saturday, June 5 at Journey Church in Federal Way. Volunteers are needed to help give away food, clothes and hygiene items at booths, direct cars, and other various tasks.
A big thanks to all who participated in the 7th Annual March of Diapers community diaper and wipe drive. WLOC loves partnering with Do the Right Thing each year. Donations were distributed to 15 non-profits in our region. A record-breaking 305,000 + diapers were donated and distributed this year!
Families enjoyed some Easter festivities at the Light of Christ Community Garden Bunny Trail Scavenger Hunt. They explored, enjoyed several photo ops, tractor rides, music, bubbles, and lots of treats! Thank you WLOC volunteers for making this a special day!
Volunteers needed to help restore the farm. Projects will include planting blueberry bushes, weeding, pruning, and picking up litter.
