Although an estimated 38 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood at any given time, less than 10 percent do so annually. Your one-hour donation appointment is a safe and essential action to support local hospitals. Each donation can help save up to three lives! We Love Our City is leading by example and sponsoring a Virtual Blood Drive from July 9 – 24.
We are challenging you to be a Life-Saving Hero and donate between these dates at any donor center or Pop-Up and make your impact count.
Step 1. Make your appointment today. Find your nearest donation site here or call 1-800-398-7888.
Step 2. On the day of your donation let the registrar know that you are donating on behalf of We Love Our City. Mention We Love Our City or the code 0253 when you arrive to your appointment.
